We are seeking an exceptional Director of Facilities to lead the maintenance and management of our properties in Chadwick, Lanark, and Mt Carroll, Illinois. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about delivering excellence in facility management and animal care. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing exceptional service and should be available when needed, 7 days a week. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working with animals.

Responsibilities:
– Ensure that all properties are clean and well-maintained
– Ensure that all doors are locked and secured
– Oversee maintenance of all properties, including regular repairs and upkeep
– Manage the upkeep of all grounds, including mowing and snow removal
– Ensure that the car wash is clean and properly functioning
– Ensure that the animals are fed and cared for properly
– Maintain the water systems for all properties
– Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the tree orchard
– Ensure that all properties are properly secured and gated

Requirements:
– Proven experience in facility management
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
– Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
– Knowledge of proper animal care and feed management
– Knowledge of water system maintenance and management
– Experience with tree orchard management
– Ability to operate a tractor
